The Greedy Bastards

There must be this attitude in all of Idaho or at least the lower half of it, that is of the grab a root and snort. Example, went to look up both Pocatello’s newspaper online, and the Post Register out of Idaho Falls in looking for maybe alternative locations for the Idaho area sub charter. Know what I couldn’t connect. Thinking that its problems with the Internet do a diagnostic scan, no problem. Now I can connect to all of the Deseret News’ pages, their classifieds, but not eastern Idaho’s. Same goes for pieces of Boise’s paper that gives me 3 listings. But nothing beyond that. Theory here is that the Idaho’s newsrags demand YOU have a daily delivery edition subscription, or no can even sniff at the hind end of any of their dainty little papers. really? This makes no sense. The idea of an online edition is so that those outside that area CAN go digging around if their looking to relocate there. But it shows why the move is to Utah. Or it just might be God above pushing me south rather than east or west.

I ate an old concockshun last night that I like little salami bits, mixed in with tater salad with a teaspoon of mayo. But this one time its had my innerds in my throat most of the night. Well at least its not my old ticker. Then I go to get my testing strips for my diabetes. Guess what? The young whippersnappers doing the pharmacy at the Twin Falls Smith’s gave me a box, all nice and sealed with one problem. No testing strips inside. Really? How can they be that so idiotic? Peoples lives are at stake here. Problem is I’ll now have to wait til Monday, to get that fixed. Then people from Erin to Charlie ask me why I need to move. Really friends? Is there a solution to this incompetent state of affairs? Yes, but its beyond my ability. I had a colleague once who said at a bikini bar in Pocatello, you can’t save em all. I now believe him. Plus I have lost all reasons to try.

When it comes to newspapers who block people from looking over the classifieds without subscriptions, I’ll bet there’s a bunch of folks who normally pay for placing those ads that are going to be awfully pee-owed.
