Better pay should come with better work not a Government order

So its Sunday and decided that I would respond to the day as required, the day of rest. So I did. Had every intention of going out for skoal and milk, at 15:00 hours but rolled over , turned off the clock and went back to slumbering.

Woke up at 18:00 hours with my stomach growling, so meandered over to the Twin Stop, grab something from McDonalds and get Skoal from the store. So got to jawing with this kid there, when in comes this Mexicali jerk raving about something, I am convinced there’s a shortage of population in Mexico as most of em are up here in Idaho. We call Twin Falls little Qudilara .

So to prevent any blood shed I meandered over to the McDonalds side. I must say the new versions of offerings are not up to McDonalds quality , nor is the service.

There is a mass march by these employees all over the nation to unionize if not push for higher wages. More over President Obama is busting a move to raise the minimum wage. I have an idea, lets let the market and quality of work mandate the raising of wages, not government mandates. The economy can’t handle that right now. Most SMB’s that employ minimum wage level employees are having a tough time as it is. Most people that eat at McDonalds are not far from being on minimum wage themselves . Most are college age or high school kids, barely scratching $10,000.00 a year, if you raise minimum wage, the prices will go up and most people wont be able to eat there. Did you know that as it is, when its broken down, that McDonalds employees right now make more than members of our military? I ain’t shittin, so how can one say they are hurting. Its like over at Charlie’s place, if you want more money , you put in more hours or at least take on greater chores and work. Its not a Government mandate, its by the caliber of effort and work. If you’re a slacker you get slacker wages. Most employers are in that same train of thought. The employee that helps a company or business grow, enabling greater wages, gets a wage increase. Not just because good old Obama says so.

Was still going to go get milk but Wolf-Pup said no to going, she’s cold, so came in, and if I need to milk the cow, will hoof over to Swensen’s , not my best choice since Swensen’s has the highest milk prices in town. Damn near $5.00 a gallon. But weather as cold as it is, said no, stay at home, get more sleep and be better equipped for Monday.

It’s a known fact that fuel injection does not work as well in sub zero temps, as a rig with a carb. Need LexiBelle, will aim for that next week.

Glad I don’t have to go anywhere.
