You can tell where there is an open mind

You can always tell even within the boundaries of a state or region, the communities that honor their defending warriors and those that don’t.

Here’s the thing, and it comes from two areas, one that a pubic official got to barking about my displaying my honored three flags, my rebel southern flag of Dixie, Old glory and of course my POW/MIA Flag. Yes the POW/MIA flag.

This in Twin Falls. Now a government declaration a few years ago, signed by Butch Otter Governor allowing the display of POW/MIA flags at all government buildings both Federal as well as state/city buildings. From courthouses to the Post Office. Yet I get barked at. West of American Falls, Idaho do not expect to see this kind of open mindness. Not in Burley, Twin Falls, Buhl, or all the way to Mountain Home. Yet on our eastern borderline towns from Idaho Falls to Malad, you’ll see that flag flying, reminding those that there are still many in foreign nations being held because of war. That kid from the Sun Valley still being held, tortured and all, yet no display of the POW/MIA flag to honor him and many others.

Is it the California effect on Idaho? Or is it something else? A good friend Zeb Bell, who does an early morning show on that radio station in Burley we tried to buy a few years ago, said once that our state is a small tiny, family oriented , God fearing , nation supporting state. Bullsbreath Zeb. When the eastern area cities and towns will put that POW/MIA flag on their public buildings, and none fly here out west.

Now then the big grump back in mid 2009 when I was reading about some guy who was a descendent of the great war of invasion on the southern states. Despite the knowledge that Abraham Lincoln, and the Republican party then were the authors and creators of both communism and Marxism , that many still believe was about slavery and racism, in reality was the oppression of a people with beliefs in God, family , and the land. My southern roots extend from Alabama all the way to Virginia. I choose to display my flag of Dixie, not as a sign of hate, which is not what it means, but as a symbol, of the sacrifice and theft of life of many of my family, and a part of this great nation that was put out to pasture at the end of a musket . Then of course old Glory, when both flags stopped flying, is when our nation started dying. And then you ask what’s wrong with Idaho and USA, we are no longer United, we a divided ready to be conquered. And if you ask by whom? China from the west, Mexico from the southern border, and Islam from the east. Best we get our rebel flag flying before we again become dying, in graves with no names again.

Idaho, pull your head out, the sun is lighting the surface , are you going to see the light?
